Anode Projects Win Gold and Best in Show at Nashville ADDYs

BY Jeff Peden

The Nashville ADDY Awards were presented on Saturday night, February 27 at War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville. This year’s sold-out event attracted 785 entries from Nashville’s exceptional advertising, marketing and communications industries.

Anode’s interactive kiosks for Adrian College won a Gold ADDY for interface and navigation design. We are happy and honored to have these touchscreen campus interactives selected for this award. As always, thank you to our collaborators at Adrian College for challenging us to develop a solution that would appeal to students, while reducing the back-end administrative work for the university’s staff.

Anode’s StoryBuilder interactive for the Bellevue Branch of the Nashville Public Library also won a Gold ADDY for the innovative use of interactive technology. Watching the children at the Bellevue library use this touchscreen has always been a reward for our team, and we’re thrilled this project was recognized by the Nashville design community on Saturday night.

To top off an exceptional night of celebrating Nashville’s finest work, Anode also brought home Best in Show in the Interactive category for NPL’s StoryBuilder interactive. We are very grateful that NPL has allowed us to be a part of reimagining the patron experience throughout their library system, and we are honored to see this collaboration receive top honors in Nashville.
