Description

Anode worked with the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame to create a state-of-the- art interactive digital exhibit. The exhibit boasts three interactive touch screens that allow visitors to explore and learn about the lives of these legendary songwriters. In anticipation of a future web-deployment, Anode built the underlying database on a web-based platform which gives the Hall of Fame a single source for managing their physical and digital presence.

For more than four decades, it was a dream of legendary songwriters to have a home in which to honor and preserve Nashville’s rich song writing tradition. With the construction of the Music City Center, this dream became a reality for the Nashville Songwriters Foundation. A home was established, partnerships were formed and work began to create a place to honor those that are the heartbeat of Music City.
As visitors interact with the touch screens, they can gain access into the biographical history of the Hall of Fame’s inductees, watch video clips, see their song lists, and even listen to the songs that made them famous.
With the physical exhibit completed, the Foundation asked Anode to update their web presence and expand the Hall of Fame experience beyond the walls of the Music City Center. Utilizing the central database of artist information, Anode created a responsive web site that shares the rich songwriting history of Nashville across a variety of devices, from desktop to mobile to tablet.
It has been an honor to work with the Songwriters Hall of Fame staff and we are proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to paying homage to these great writers. Many thanks to our friends at the Songwriters Hall of Fame!
